NETWORK OF GURUS - sap SOFTWARE SUPER USERS
CLIENT
Tate & Lyle Plc., a manufacturer and global supplier of food and beverage ingredients, wanted to implement an ERP software, SAP, globally across all its locations.
PROBLEM
With the software rollout in EMEA locations, employee training and ongoing support became necessary.
SOLUTION
PMO and OCM launched the SAP Super User Network in the region. As the PMO analyst, I teamed up with the global OCM manager, who was responsible for structuring and changing communication for all EMEA teams.
Our work involved:
Nominating the software guru / super user in each location.
Introducing international teams.
Scheduling and arranging weekly, monthly, and quarterly events (such as forums, skill-share workshops, and knowledge transfer between super users and authorised SAP training).
Creating the monthly newsletter.
Initiating an EMEA super user holiday tracker.
Updating the company's onboarding process to include SAP training for new joiners.
RESULT
The SAP Super User Network greatly enhanced international team building and business engagement by improving cross-border communication, enabling skill and knowledge sharing, and developing internal flexibility in a business transformation process.
